BSEB Bihar Result 2024 Analysis: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will release the Class 10 board exam result on March 31. Once the BSEB Patna board announces the matric result, students will be able to check their scores at the official BSEB websites - bsebinter.org, results.biharboardonline.com. Bihar Board's Class 10th overall pass percentage continues to improve over the years, and is expected to cross 81 per cent this year. Bihar Board 10th Result Analysis Last year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 exams was recorded at 81.04 per cent. A total of 16,10,657 students appeared for the Matric exam, out of which 8,19,737 were girl students and 7,90,920 were boys. The total number of passed candidates was 13,05,203, out of which 6,61,570 were boy students and 6,43,633 were girl students. The topper of Class 10 in 2023 achieved 489 marks out of 500 (97.8 per cent), and the second and third place holders achieved 486 marks (97.2 per cent) and 484 marks, respectively. In 2022, first division was achieved by 4,24,857 students, as many as 5,10,411 students secured the second division and 3,47,637 got the third division. The topper in 2022 scored 487 marks, and the second rankers got 486, third place holders got 485 and fourth place holders got 484 marks. In 2021, the overall pass percentage was 78.17 per cent, which was a significant decline from 2020 when the overall pass percentage was 80.59 per cent. The decline in pass percentage can also be due to the Covid pandemic, when schools were constantly shifting between online and offline education, and several students had to suffer learning gaps. The pass percentage in 2019, however, was the first time that the Bihar Board crossed 70 per cent in matric exams and directly jumped to 80. 73 per cent. Before 2019, the board struggled to cross even 70 per cent, but 2018 still saw a huge jump from 50.12 per cent of 2017.
