The pass percentage in agriculture is 87.11 per cent. Of the total 88,638 students registering as many as 80,766 students appeared and 70,352 qualified.

The pass percentage in engineering is 75.51 per cent. Of the total 2,74,213 students registering as many as 2,58,374 students appeared and 1,95,092 qualified.

A total of 3,62,851 candidates registered for the AP EAPCET 2024 including 2,74,213 candidates registered for the engineering stream, and 88,638 for the agriculture stream. A total of 1,82,283 female candidates (engineering 1,16,205+ agriculture 66,080) registered for the AP EAPCET while a total of 1,80,566 male candidates (engineering 158008+ agriculture 22,558) applied to sit for the exam.

A total of 1,95,092 out of 2,58,374 candidates are qualified in engineering stream and a total of 70,352 out of 80,766 are qualified in the Agriculture Stream. APEAPCET-2024 ranks are being declared for 1,66,012 candidates of MPC stream and 56,913 candidates
of BiPC stream.

A total of 3,62,851 candidates registered for AP EAPCET 2024 examination with 2,74,213 candidates registered for the engineering stream and 88,638 for the agriculture stream.

Additionally, the counselling dates and details are expected to be released soon after the result is declared. The list of institutions and their intake in various disciplines and categories will be made available in a short time with counselling details.

If students have the same total score, then the tie is broken down further by looking at marks secured in EAMCET Exam, then performance in Maths questions of the entrance exam, similar further Physics marks are taken into consideration, and then finally still the candidates have the same score then the same rank will be provided but during admission candidates by date of birth will provide the higher preference

Candidate’s ranks will be allotted based on their EAMCET and Class 12 performance. They will be rewarded 75 per cent of the weightage of EAMCET marks and 25 per cent weight will be taken into consideration of class 12 marks in relevant group subjects — Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry of the qualifying exam.  However, the ST and SC category candidates will be provided with a no minimum marks criteria relaxation.

Students will have to use their registration number and hall ticket number as login credentials to download and check the AP EAMCET 2024 results.

Here is the list of programmes offered in the state - engineering, biotechnology, BTech in dairy technology, agricultural engineering, food science and technology, BSc in agriculture, horticulture, veterinary sciences, BPharmacy and PharmD.

The qualifying marks for AP EAMCET 2023 is 40 (i.e 25%) out of 160 for OC and BC candidates. There is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST candidates.

The main aim of the normalization is to justify the candidates who got a difficult paper compared to an easier paper. Hence, the task is to rationalize in the best possible sense and rank the candidates based on the global performance. Various national level examination bodies like JEE Main and GATE are currently adopting such normalization procedures.

The AP EAMCET 2024 result date and time is confirmed. The AP EAPCET 2024 result will be declared today, June 11 at 4 pm.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE will declare the AP EAMCET 2024 result. The AP EAMCET is administered by JNTU Kakinada for entry into the first year of the professional courses — engineering, bio-technology, BTech (dairy technology), BTech (agr engg), BTech (food science and technology); BSc (Ag) / BSc (Hort) / BVSc and AH / BFSc / BSc, (Nursing) and BPharmacy, Pharm D offered for the academic year 2024-2025 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. JNTU has 159 affiliated colleges and shortlisted candidates will be able to take admission in those colleges.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) held the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2024 between May 16 and 22. 

75 per cent of AP EAPCET normalized marks and 25 per cent of intermediate marks in group subjects will be used to prepare the rank.

- For Candidates having qualifying marks in AP EAPCET 2024, if after normalization, the marks in any individual subject(s) become negative, then the normalized marks in the respective subjects are treated as zero. However, total marks in three subjects are
considered as EAPCET marks.

- For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut-off in AP EAPCET 2024, if the marks in all the three subjects after normalization go below zero (negative), the total marks are treated as zero and the rank is assigned. If the tie persists then APEAPCET 2024 normalization marks (negative) will be considered for breaking the tie.

The rank list for AP EAPCET is decided by candidate's combined score in the exam and class 12. The provisional answer keys for AP EAMCET were released in May for both agriculture and pharmacy (AP) and engineering streams.

The minimum qualifying criteria of the entrance test for admission to BSc (Nursing)

General - 50th percentile
SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile
General-PwD - 45th percentile
SC/ST/OBC/-PwD - 40th percentile

There is no negative marking for wring answers marked and no deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for a question.

The weightage of marks in the case of candidates belonging to the category of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders, will be decided by a committee constituted by the competent authority.

For the preparation of the merit list, in case of more than one student obtaining the same combined score, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following

1. The total marks scored in AP EAMCET 2024

2. The marks obtained in mathematics in AP EAPCET 2024

3. The marks secured in Physics in AP EAPCET 2024

4. If the tie persists, same rank will be given and the older (based on date of birth) will be given preference over the younger at the time of admissions.

The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in AP EAPCET 2024 and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit based on the combined score obtained by giving 75 per cent weightage to the marks scored in AP EAPCET 2024 and 25 per cent weightage to the marks scored in the relevant group subjects namely mathematics, physics, chemistry of the qualifying examination.

Candidates who have appeared for the AP EAPCET 2024 can download their scorecard and rank from the official website – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

The AP EAMCET cut-off will be announced along with the declaration of the result. Students getting scores above the AP EAMCET 2024 cut-off will be able to apply for counselling for admission to the desired courses and colleges.

Last year, in the engineering stream as many as 76.32 per cent candidates passed. The pass rate for students in the agriculture and pharmacy disciplines was 89.65 per cent last year.

The AP EAMCET 2024 ranks obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at AP EAPCET 2024 by any candidate claiming as an SC or ST category will be canceled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission to any course of study in any participating university or institution. 

The rank obtained in AP EAPCET 2024 will be valid for admission to the programmes for 2024-2025 academic year only.

Candidates will be ranked based on the EAMCET normalised marks which have 75 per cent weightage. The remaining 25 per cent weightage will be given to Class 12 marks in the order of merit.

The AP EAMCET 2024 counselling details are not released yet. The list of institutions for allotment of candidates with intake in all the disciplines and categories will be released after the announcement of the result at the official AP EAMCET website -- cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
