Anna University Exams 2016: New date sheet released for flood-affected districts

Anna University has released the revised time-table for the flood affected districts – Chennai, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur. The University has rescheduled the exams four times due to inclement weather.

According to the circular issued at Anna University’s official website, the exams for B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch (R-2013) programmes will commence from Dec 29.

Recently, the students protested outside the University demanding more time for preparation. Few of them complained that since they have lost their study notes, the exams should begin January onwards, 2016. After hearing their problem, the Anna University officials finally decided to provide two options to students from four flood-affected districts. While some have appeared for the Dec 15 exams, some students will follow the latest date sheet, that is, Dec 29 onwards.

While a lot of students have appeared for the Dec 15 exams, some waited for the latest date sheet.
