Delhi Confidential: Derek O’Brien’s time(ly) suggestion

Having shifted into the new Parliament building during the Monsoon Session, MPs are still discovering minor issues with the arrangements. While speaking in the Upper House during the ongoing Winter Session on Tuesday, TMC member Derek O’Brien pointed out that it was difficult to keep a track of the time he had been allotted to speak as the timer clocks were behind his back. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said something would be done about it, noting that O’Brien had made a suggestion earlier too.
