Wins for Sukhai,Sangam

Sukhai FC and Sangam FC defeated their respective opponents in the Peninsula Land Pune District Football League organised by the Pune District Football Association and held at the Range Hills football ground on Tuesday.

In the first match of the day,Sukhai FC defeated Thunderkatz ‘B’ 2-0. Ganesh Kale opened the scoring in the 29 th minute thanks to the pass given by Amol Waghmare. While Sukhai FC were passing the ball well Thunderkatz found it difficult to hold possession. In the 38 th minute,Sukhai FC’s midfielder Sourav Tawde gave a good pass to Mandar Bengali,who put the ball in to the net with ease. With a comfortable 2-0 lead,Sukhai was in a secure position and never allowed their opponent to get back in to the match. In the second match of the day,Sangam FC defeated Gunners FC 1-0. Sangam’s Amrit Pal gave his team an early lead at the 25 th minute. Gunners FC got one corner in the second half,but they failed to capitalize. The match ended 1-0.
