Sister Act
Even though Kareena Kapoor is the younger of the two siblings,in terms of age and acting career, she seems to have gladly taken Karisma Kapur under her wing. Karisma, who is reviving her acting career with Vikram Bhatts Dangerous Ishq,is surely taking some lessons in marketing from her sister. Karisma is talking about plans for her sisters upcoming wedding with Saif Ali Khan in her interviews and is also often seen with the couple at various events. Kareena,of course, reciprocates and praises her as an actor and a mother. Even the number of brand endorsements in Karismas kitty have recently gone up and she is being seen in more lifestyle ads as opposed to those for home care products. With things looking up for Karisma, hopefully, some of Kareenas luck should rub off too.
Scene and Heard
Yet again,Amitabh Bachchan has ensured that he makes himself heard. The actor has lent his voice to the narrative by Prasoon Joshi in the documentary,13 December. The film marks the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the Indian parliament and recreates the unfortunate events of that day. A natural choice for such narratives,Bachchan will applaud the courage of those who fought off the attack in the documentary.
New Tidings
The motive seems unclear but Star Network is replacing their channel Star One with Life OK. The channel will go on air starting December 18 on the same bandwidth as Star One. The programming is fresh with the exception of the popular show Sach Ka Saamna. Interestingly, however, all shows will be 20-minute-long and will be telecast seven days a week.
Second Chance
Metallica fans who missed the bands live performance in India are being given a second chance. The Bengaluru concert will be telecast over the weekend on MTV. The performance, which exacted rave reviews from the popular band’s fans, will be shown on both Saturday and Sunday at 8pm. Be sure to stay tuned, especially the ones who had booked themselves to attend the concert in Delhi.
