UNESCO cultural fest from May 21

The United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Education (UNESCO) in collaboration with Akhil Bhartiya Sanksruutik Sangh,Pune,will organise a festival called ‘Cultural harmony 2010’ in May at Tilak Samarak Mandir. The fest will start on May 21 and conclude on June 1. It is aimed at fostering universal brotherhood,said a press note. The festival is being organised in Pune,the cultural capital of Maharashtra owing to the historic and culturally significant role of the city in India,it added. “Our primary aim inholding the festival is to promote a sense of unity and convey a message of national unity,” said Hemant Singh,general secretary of the Akhil Bhartiya Sangh.
