The Maharashtra under-22 team are on the brink of victory in their match against RSPB in the CK Nayudu Trophy at Nashik.
In the first innings,RSPB batted first and scored a total of 189 runs in 62 overs before being bowled out.
Sandeep Yadav top scored with 36 runs while A Jambhekar supported him well with 30 runs of his own.
For Maharashtra,Naseer Momin was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped four wickets for 44 runs in 17 overs.
Jitendra Patil supported him well with three wickets of his own,said a press release.
In reply Maharashtra managed to score 340 runs in 137 overs before being bowled out. Kaustubh Patil top scored with 104 runs while Ganesh Kukade supported him well with a half century.
For RSPB,A Jambhekar was the main bowler picking up four wickets for 106 runs in 42 overs. Danish Ali supported him well with three wickets of his own.
In their second innings,having to overcome a lead of 151 runs RSPB managed to score 172 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 68 overs. Mohammed Asif offered lone resistance as he stroked his way to an unbeaten 83.
For Maharashtra Rahul Tripathi was the highest wicket taker with three wickets while Jitendra Patil supported him well with two wickets of his own.
