Two more arrested in gangrape case

The Kondhwa police on Sunday produced two more accused,in the alleged gangrape of a 17-year-old girl from Laxminagar slums in Parvati,at a city court on Sunday. The duo was remanded to police custody till November 4. The police had earlier arrested Avinash Mahesh Lalwani in connection with the case.

The prosecution stated that the police custody of the suspects is necessary to recover the revolver with which they had allegedly threatened the victim. The police also have to recover the car in which the victim was taken to a flat on Dhole Patil Road and raped.
