The Pune police have arrested a gang of three persons for their alleged involvement in kidnapping two men near the Indira Institute of Management in Wakad and robbing them of Rs 1,500 on March 4.
The victim,Amit Biharilal Gupta,had lodged a complaint at Hinjewadi police station in this case.

The suspects have been identified as Dipak Purushottam Nayar (27) of Ota Scheme Nigdi,Tushar Dilip Mankar (21) of Kaspate Wasti,Mulshi and Sebastian alias Pappu Robert Peter (28) of Bijlinagar,Nigdi.
According to the police,the suspects kidnapped Gupta and his friend Suraj Yadav in a car from Wakad on March 3.
They assaulted Gupta and Yadav with wooden batons and demanded Rs 1 lakh from them as ransom,police said.
