American band Tritonal will egg listeners on to shake a leg with their energetic dance music. Look out for their popular ‘Essence of Kea’,’Crash Into Reason’,’Let Solitude’,’Piercing Quiet’,and ‘Cloudbase’ numbers. The gig starts at 5pm today.
Against Odds
In the days before International Women’s Day dawns,a dance programme celebrating female empowerment would seem apt. Kala Nritya Dance Academy will combine its 25th anniversary celebrations with a commentary on woman power in an event called ‘Stree Shakti’. Priya Parab will present a performance that will depict the various stages of womanhood,and the odds she has to fight against to succeed. The programme will be held at M E S Auditorium,Kothrud,today,6 pm onwards.
