Three die in E-way mishap

Three people from Talegaon Dabhade died on the spot when their car collided with a trailer near Somatane Phata on Pune-Mumbai Expressway early on Sunday.

Three people from Talegaon Dabhade died on the spot when their car collided with a trailer near Somatane Phata on Pune-Mumbai Expressway early on Sunday.

Mayur Dilip Bhandwalkar,Ravindra Vinayak Karande,Rohit Rajesh Sengar all aged 24 were returning from Mumbai after dropping Sengar’s uncle,when the accident took place. Bhandwalkar was a final year MBA student of D Y Patil College. His mother Dr Vijaya Bhandwalkar is a former mayor of the Talegaon Municipal Council. Karande was a computer engineer and worked with a firm in Hinjewadi IT park. Sengar also a computer engineer and had his own business.

The trailer was reversing at a petrol pump on the Expressway,when the speeding car collided with it. Traffic was disrupted for some time following the accident.
