The sixth edition of the Kirloskar Vasundhara International Film Festival will explore nature and analyse topical issues relating to the environment,wildlife,energy,air and Water through the screening of national and international films.

The sixth edition of the Kirloskar Vasundhara International Film Festival will explore nature and analyse topical issues relating to the environment,wildlife,energy,air and Water through the screening of national and international films. Organised by Kirloskar,Club Vasundhara and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) from February 18 to 26,this nine-day festival will bring to the fore core issues captured on reels. This year,the fifth edition of the Kirloskar Vasundhara photography competition will also be held. The topic for the competition is “Environment through my Lens”. The last date for sending in entries is February 5. Participants are urged to capture everyday incidents,positive or negative,that portray efforts for nature conservation,waste management or solving traffic problem; project different kinds of pollution,land encroachment,cutting of trees and other related actions. The message should be powerful – ‘Protect,Preserve and Save’. Those interested can submit 10 best photographs clicked by them. The winners will receive cash prizes from Rs 3000 to Rs 10,000.
