Technology to be next driver for industry,says Kalyani

“Technology will be the next driver for industries. The need for manufacturing industries is to understand the changing dynamics of technology and adopt it,” said B N Kalyani,Chairman and managing director of Bharat Forge,while addressing mediapersons on Thursday.

Speaking about the slow down in the automotive industry,Kalyani said the company would expand in railway and aerospace segments,which had pushed the bottom line of the company.

Talking about the foray of the company in the railway segment,he said the the company had been successful in indigenousing production of diesel locomotive. “We have received orders from US,Russian and European railways. Locomotives will be manufactured at the Baramati factory of the firm,” the businessman said.
