Techie’s body found in quarry

A software professional’s body was found today in an abandoned stone quarry filled with water. Ashok Dangade,around 30 years old,had gone missing two days ago. He is suspected to have committed suicide due to some personal problems.

Shivaji Darekar,senior police inspector,Warje-Malwadi Police station told Newsline,“The brother of the deceased has told us that Dandage was under stress due to some personal problems. This is believed to have led him to suicide by jumping into the quarry.”

His body was fished out on Monday after residents of the area saw the body floating in the water filled quarry. The deceased was a resident of Neha Heights at Warje Naka. Darekar said he was an employee of a software firm in Kharadi.
