Teachers to get salaries on first day of month

The school education department has decided to release the salaries of all teachers in primary,secondary,higher secondary,physically challenged and deaf and dumb schools on the first of every month electronically. This decision is applicable to all private,zilla parishad and municipal corporation schools and nearly eight lakh teachers and non-teaching staff in the state will be benefited by it,said Avinash Takawale of Nationalist Junior College Teachers Association in a press release.
