“A successful woman should have a 3D philosophy – do it,delegate it and dump it,” said Pooja Bedi,who was in the city along with film-maker Ashutosh Gowariker,at a seminar organised by the National Council of Women in India on ‘Shifting Societal Trends’. The seminar had speakers talking about the role and effect of media on our lives. “Many films have been made to depict women’s issues or problems of the girl child,but are hardly noticed by the mass audience,” said Shashikala Gurpur,principal of Symbiosis Law College. “Reality shows hugely mould the thought processes of the youth and it is nice to see that more and more families are encouraging their daughters to participate in such shows,which many a times,act as superb platforms to showcase their talent on,” Gowariker said.
