Isignia 2010,a three-day cultural competition,was organised on the campus of Adarsha Shikshan Mandali (ASM) here recently.
The programme began with a street play competition on the theme Say No to Drugs. IBMR’s Animesh and his team emerged the winners,the D Y Patil College Akurdi’s team came second,while Shailendra and his team from IIBR Pune was placed third,said a press note.
In the laughter show,Raju Ramdas of DY Patil College,Akurdi,bagged the first prize. Prashant Tamre and his team from ICS,Chinchwad,was the first runner-up. The poster painting competition was won by Jaishri from RGMPS and Vini Sharma from IIBR was the first runner-up. Singhad Institute,Lonavala won the antakshari competition.
Tauhid Riyaz Kudchi from Singhad Institute,Lonavala,won the first prize for vocals (solo),while Sanchari Ghosh from IBMR Pune came second. In the duet section,Tauhid Riyaz Kudchi and Sonal Sepen of Singhad Institute,Lonavala,secured the first prize. Vipas Narayan and Nitin Chandra of DY Patil College,Pimpri,won the second prize.
In group dance,the IBMR team bagged the first prize,while DY Patil College Pimpri’s group got the second prize,the note said.
