0n July 12,Status Resto Bar,a multi-cuisine restaurant situated at Sadhu Vaswani Chowk,celebrated its 27th anniversary. The restaurant which was launched in 1986 by Tulsi Shetty,has now been taken over by his son Abhijeet Shetty,who aims to add some more glamour and improvements in terms of food,music and the ambience,to the popular joint. The USP of the restaurant,according to the resident chef Sagar Joshi,is the large variety of biryanis,kebabs,South Indian and Italian cuisines. In desserts,matka kulfi,fresh fruit cheesecakes and gulab jamuns are big hits amongst patrons.
