Starry Beginnings

The Sonakshi Sinha,Ranveer Singh-starrer,Lootera is scheduled to release on July 5. Along with an ensemble cast,Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) alumna Shirin Guha will also be making her debut with the film. Guha says she was approached by director Vikramaditya Motwane. Speaking about the role she says,“We shot for the film in October and November last year. I play the role of Devyani,who is Pakhi’s (Sonakshi Sinha) best friend. And right from the onset it was a blast. Both Sonakshi and Ranveer were wonderful as co-stars.” Guha even mentions that one of her favourite pastimes was asking Sinha about her father. “Shatrughan (Sinha) sir,is an alumnus of FTII so there is a lot of respect for him. I would ask her how he was outside the limelight. Besides,both Sonakshi and Ranveer were so nice,they never created any fuss,ate with the team and were very approachable,” she adds.
