St Vincent’s trounce Bishop’s Co-ed 5-0

They were rewarded in the 9th minute when Shreyansh Munot gave them the lead. They took a lot of confidence from this goal and extended their lead in the 17th minute when Dylan Coecho scored a good goal.

Five minutes later,Harsh Rane gave his team a comfortable 3 goal lead. Bishops tried to launch a comeback but the Vincents defence remained solid. The half ended 2-0.

It was more of the same from both teams in the second half as Vincents peppered the opposition goal with attacks while Bishops was content with defence. Melwyn Thomas scored Vincent’s fourth goal in the 30th minute and his team were running away with the game at this stage. Rishabh Raj added the icing on the cake when he score the fifth Vincent’s goal in the 34th minute. Bishops had no answer and were just looking to the referee to end their misery. He did so and blew his final whistle.
