Special arrangements for filing I-T returns

For the convenience of taxpayers,special arrangements have been made by the Income Tax department to file their Income Tax returns at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch,near Nehru Stadium,Swargate,up to July 31. Taxpayers have to note that during this period,no returns will be accepted at the Income tax office,PMT building,Shankarsheth Road,Swargate,said a press release from the Income Tax Commissionerate. For the taxpayers who are required to file their income tax returns at Income offices at Praptikar Sadan,60/61,Erandwana,Karve Road,and Income Tax offices at Pratyakshankar Bhavan,Akurdi,special arrangements have been made at these places for filing returns. Special counters for senior citizens and women taxpayers have also been provided at these places,the release said.
