A delegation of Spanish film artistes visited the city on Friday to inaugurate the sixth annual Spanish Film Festival at NFAI.
The delegation,which included Elena Anaya (actress in Hierro),Lola Duenas (actress in Yo Tambien),Marta Etura (actress in Celda 211),Edmon Roch (director and producer of Garbo: El Espia),Beatriz de la Gandara (producer) and Guillermo Rodriguez (director of Casa de la India). Also present were Dr Mohan Agashe,Ravi Gupta,secretary,Pune Film Foundation (PFF) and Sameer Nakhate,another member of PFF.
Gupta had organised a cocktail party,followed by dinner for the delegation. He said,It was our privilege to host the Spanish delegation and we ensured that we made our guests feel special and at home.
The festival,which will conclude today,will showcase nine Spanish films. Some of them are Agora (Mists of Time),Celeda 211,ElSecreto De Sus Ojos (The Secret in Their Eyes).
