Something to remember

When you enter the Hard Rock Cafe,you are surrounded by mementos of some of the greatest musicians in the world – Jimi Hendrix,The Beatles,Elvis. And so far,all the souvenirs are of international artistes. But now,Indian Ocean has become the first Indian band to have its memorabilia put up in the cafe. The Delhi-based band has donated mementos to all five branches in the country. The memorabilia includes guitars,kurtas,tablas and even the rare instrument,gubgubi,which band member Amit Kilam plays in the song Ma Rewa. Rahul Ram,bassist of the band,says,”Words don’t come close to describing what we feel. Guys like Clapton,Lennon are legends. To have our stuff side by side with theirs goes way beyond our wildest dreams!”
