Funky sounds
The stars of funk rock will enthrall the city,as the band,Jukebox is performing some of the most popular funk rock numbers this Thursday. The band members include Michael Pereirra on bass guitar and vocals,Sanjay Jack Barde on drums and vocals,Chris Fonceca on guitars and vocals and city based Leo Mathew on keyboards and vocals.Leo has been on the scene for over eight years playing with various bands such as Strange Brew and legends like Derek Julien and Roger Dragonette and has a good rock and pop repertoire. The band will perform at Hard Rock café at Pyramid lawns.

The write way
Chitra a Marathi film was recently screened at City pride Kothrud and received much appreciation. The movie is based on the novel of Anna Bhau Sathe,writer and social reformer from Maharashtra. Interacting post the screening of it,Mali,director said,“The film is about two sisters who face the dilemma while living in the world of double standards. This film is based on the novel which was written fifty years ago and still it is evident as society has not changed so far. The movie itself is the mirror of contemporary society.” Produced by city based Muskaan Production the film will be released on February 19 in the city.
