The 500th show of the programme will be celebrated by Zee Marathi television on Sunday July 26 at 7 pm. So for all those who long to listen to their favourite musical tracks Aayushyyawar Bolu Kahi,Superman,Nasates Ghari Tu Jevha and so on,it is time to be glued to television.

Making music
Renowned artistes Pandit Santosh Mishra and Sangeet Mishra will present a sarangi recital and lecture demonstration at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) today. Besides the sarangi recital,the major topics to be dealt with during the lec-dem session will be khayal and thumari,sadra chaity,holy,kajari,bada khayal and chota khayal,history of sarangi,sarangi gharanas in India,characteristics of Benaras gharana,fusion music and others. The programme will be held at the main theatre of the institute at 6.30 pm and is open for all.
