Eye candy
It is a rare occurrence to have a three-dimensional movie play at a multiplex right here in the city, much less an international smash which has received a lot of critical acclaim and targeted towards the entire family. Up,the latest venture from Pixar Animation Studios,is currently playing at the newly opened Fame Fun n Shop multiplex at Fatima Nagar. Pixar is the studio responsible for animation movies like Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, both of which went on to win Oscars. This is the first time a movie of such high repute as a Pixar animated film is playing in a three-dimensional version at a city multiplex. The three-D effects of Up are extremely smooth and state-of-the-art unlike the tacky and amateurish effects of three-D films of yore, making Up a visual delight to behold. All in all, this is a treat that shouldn’t be missed by anyone. Fame Fun n Shop is showing the three-D version of Up at the timings of 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm regularly.
