Grandeur of art
The evening of November 18 was indeed a remarkable one for literature lovers as Pune’s eighth Pulotsav came to an end in the most impressive manner. The closing ceremony, held at Ramanbagh school, featured live performance by the stars of sitcom Fu Bai Fu followed by the acknowledgment ceremony, wherein the entire organising team was acknowledged in front of the crowd for their hard work and dedication. This year,Pulotsav celebrated the 25th anniversary of Aashay Film Club by screening 25 films throughout the festival. This was perhaps this year’s biggest achievement, said Satish Jakatdar, director of Pulotsav. The crowd present at the ceremony thoroughly enjoyed themselves. My child loves Fu Bai Fu. She is a regular viewer of the show and she happens to know all the stars by their names! That’s why I came here today with my daughter, smiled Rashmi Pandse, one of the viewers. The closing ceremony witnessed a crowd of almost 500 people. Fu Bai Fu indeed proved to be a real crowd puller!
