King’s Club

Civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr’s close relationship with India is being celebrated in a multimedia exhibition called Journeys Towards Freedom. Clown Prince

Part-English and part-gibberish,Nothing Like Lear is a touching play loosely based on Shakespeare’s King Lear. Atul Kumar plays a clown who has lost the skills that made him successful in his profession,but what saddens him more is that his daughter,the only person he loved the most,has left him. Produced by Cinematograph and The Company Theatre,Nothing Like Lear will be staged at Prithvi Theatre on February 11 and 12. Contact: 26149546

Night at the Opera

The Symphony Orchestra of India returns to NCPA this month for their 12th season. On February 18,they present two classic operas,Pietro Mascagni’s one-act Cavalleria Rusticana and Ruggero Leoncavallo’s two-act I Pagliacci.
