A day-long extravaganza spearheaded by Pune’s prestigious cultural club Sangeet Kala Sagar is organising a shopping festival that will exhibit an ensemble collection from across cities in India including Delhi,Kolkata,Mumbai,Jaipur,Hyderabad and Pune. The event is being held at

Hotel Sun ‘n’ Sand on Friday.

Art

Canvas prints by legendary European artists will be on display at Bal Gandharva Art Gallery from August 1 to 4. The exhibition is organised by father-daughter duo Aamod and Rajlaxmi Bhat. The paintings are copyright-free limited edition images which have been reprinted through canvas art.

Watercolour Fantasy,an exhibition of artwork by artist Champak Bhattacharya are on display at Bliss Art Gallery,Koregoan Park from 9 am to 6 pm till August 3.

An exhibition of paintings by artist G Kamble depicting the 100 years of Indian cinema is on at Buena Vista,St Patricks Town,Hadapsar 10 am to 5 pm.

An exhibition of paintings by artist Shobha Patki is on at Dr Diwakar Dengle Art Gallery,Vanaz Corner,Kothrud,Paud Road till August 4.

Music

Disciples of Mohankumar Darekar have organised a classical concert of evening ragas on the occasion of Gurupurnima. The performers will present ragas such as Marwa,Puriyadhanashri,Yaman,Bhimpalasi,Bhopali,Madhuvanti and Megh. Those present will get to witness genres such as bhajans,natyageet,abhang among othes.
