Art

Celebration of Life,an exhibition of paintings in acrylic by Sharada Burkar,is on at Way Down South Art Gallery,Baner,9 am to 4 pm and 5.30 pm to 10 pm,till April 31. Art is my hobby and one of my prime reasons of existence; it is my meditation and my peace, says the artist.

What makes a great city? Its skyline and twinkling lights? Or the cars and trains chugging and meandering through it? Take a glimpse at Indrani Dwaras perspective of a city at her art exhibition Metropolis at Bliss Art Gallery. Using a variety of media and some installation work,her art captures the beauty of a city through various images of city lights at night or a train approaching the station. The show is on till April 19,9 am to 6 pm.
