One has enthralled audiences with her voice and her stint with the IPL while the other showcased the dreams of an entire nation when he won Rs Five crores in the fifth edition of (Kaun Banega Crorepati) KBC. Singer-turned-anchor Shibani Dandekar and Sushil Kumar were both in the city for the promotion of their television show,Jhalak Dikhla Jaa that airs on COLORS. They spoke about their respective journeys to stardom and the experience of being judged by Madhuri Dixit,Karan Johar and Remo D’souza. Kumar who shot to fame after winning the KBC admits to his non-dancing roots and says,“Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa was a good opportunity,I am not sure of what the end result would be but I would love to take a chance and learn from it.” With a laugh he further adds,“I remember all the technical terms of the dance styles but it’s quite a task to remember the steps.” Samba and Salsa are the two styles that he has been learning for the show but not without his fair share of pit falls. “Both the style’s are extremely hard to learn but I’ve managed to get the basics right after lots of falling and twisting. All the participants are good dancers and very hard working, this competition is definitely no cake walk.” he says, adding,“Whether I win or lose,I would be happy just being a part of the show.”
