After receiving a large turnout of over 100 bands and independent singers last year,Radio City 91.1 FM has commenced its second season of ‘Radio City Music Mahotsav’. The musical fest and talent search that aims to showcase the vast array of musical talents in Pune by giving performers the opportunity to perform live. This year the winning act will not only get the chance to play live on air,but will also be featured on Radio City’s music album to be released by Sa Re Ga Ma. Last year winners,the band ‘Aroha’ comprising of engineering students Nikhil Modgi and Suheet Abhyanker set a high benchmark for this year’s contest. Any musical group consisting of two or more members is welcome to audition for season 2. Auditions are being held daily between 11 am and 5 pm from June 18 to June 30 at the Radio City Studios.
