Germany calling
Sayaji Hotels will be holding a German food festival at Turque,the poolside lounge till October 1. The food festival also inaugurates the introduction of a full-fledged German Floor on the 3rd level of the Sayaji. ‘The German Floor’ is slated to be a first-of-its-kind experience in Pune where Sayaji has created a comprehensive German setting with music,periodicals,cuisine,atmosphere and German speaking staff to deliver an experience closest to home for Germans who have come many miles away. Inspired by Oktoberfest held in Munich each year,Deutsche-fest is a celebration of Sayajis long-standing rapport with German tourists and business travellers,organized in association with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce.
Merry Making
The Ishanya Short Film festival will see the screening of the Michael Keaton directed film ‘The Merry Gentleman’ on September 28. The film,which revolves around a woman who leaves an abusive relationship to begin a new life in a new city,where she forms an unlikely and ironic relationship with a suicidal man. Having a total running time of 110 minutes the films will be a treat for lovers of short films. It will be held at the Hanging Cube at the Ishanya Mall evening 8 onwards.
