Pune sub divisional officer Jayashree Katare will submit a detailed report to the District Collector regarding a 43.57-hectare land in Yerwada and Lohegaon. It has been alleged that the prime land worth almost Rs 500 crore is owned by the government and the military and was given to private holders for development. Divisional Commissioner Dilip Band on September 24 asked District Collector Chandrakant Dalvi to order an inquiry into the status of the land. SDO Katare said they were conducting the inquiry. “We have collected lot of documents and the report will be submitted in two days,”she said.
