School bus driver held for molesting student

The Bundgarden police have arrested a school bus driver for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old student of an English medium school on February 28 on the bus. Police said the victim walked down to the school for the next 15 days and told her mother about the incident only on Friday.

The police have arrested the driver,Rajendra Pralhad Jagtap (48) of Yerawada. Investigating officer Vaishali Abhangrao said,“On February 28,the driver picked up the girl from a spot near her house. He molested her on the way to the school. The girl went to the school on foot for the next 15 days. Only a few days ago,she told her mother about the incident who then reported the matter to us. We arrested the driver immediately after the complaint was lodged.” Abhangrao said people are being questioned to find out more details about the case.
