If you are an ardent fan of Dev Anand and would like to re-live the best movies and songs in which the legendary actor acted,here is a chance you wouldnt like to miss. Shubban Entertainment,in association with Suyog Entertainment,presents Dev Anand,The Living Legend. The two-hour programme will be in the form of an audio-visual presentation,showing the unforgettable movie clippings and evergreen melodious songs from the movies of Dev Anand like Taxi Driver,CID,Guide,Hira Panna,Paying Guest,Kala Pani and Hum Dono,to name a few. This programme is in honour of noted actor and director,Dev Anand. Its a small way of showing our love and respect towards his contribution to the Indian cinema. We will be holding similar shows at Kolhapur and Solapur in the coming days, says Subaassh Chavaan,Shubban Entertainment.
The event is based on the golden era,including songs up to the years of mid 1980s,like Din Dhal Jaye,Kabhi Khud Pe,Main Zindagi Ka Saath,Shokhiyon Mein Ghola Jaye,Choodi Nahin Ye Mera Dil Hai and many more. Some of the real-life incidents which happened during the shoot of his films will also be shown. Conceptualised and directed by Sagar Atre and written by Shashank Shende,the event will showcase the development of the actor,who acted with almost all the actresses from that era. Rahul Solapurkar will be hosting the show,while singers like Hrishikesh Ranade,Jitendra Abhyankar and Swapnaja Lele will sing numbers from Dev Anand films. Also present on the occasion will be known Marathi actor Subodh Bhave.
Dev Anand is an actor who has been active for more than five decades. I have been working on this concept for a long time and being a big fan of Dev Anand,this was the best possible way I could express my admiration for him and his work, says Atre,Suyog Entertainment.
