Pune reported 41 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday.
As per state health department data, 77 new Covid-19 cases were reported across the state.
A total of 36 new Covid 19 cases were from Pune city areas, two from Pimpri Chinchwad and three from Pune rural areas.
There were 35 from Mumbai while Kolhapur and Nagpur also reported new Covid-19 cases.
Overall, the case count in Maharashtra has climbed to 1,439 Covid infections. Overall the number of death reported was 18. A total of 814 persons have recovered from Covid 19 infection as per state health department data
