Pune-based Sahyadri Hospitals to invest Rs 750 crore to double healthcare infra

Opens a 100-bed facility at Hadapsar in addition to the existing hospital in the area.

Sahyadri Hospitals, based in Pune, has announced expansion plans to double the capacity of the chain in the next 3 to 4 years with over Rs 750 crore-worth investment in healthcare infrastructure.

Abrarali Dalal, director and CEO of Sahyadri Hospitals, Tuesday said that as part of its expansion plans the management has doubled up its capacity in the Hadapsar area by opening a Sahyadri Hospital Hadapsar Annexe. Sahyadri Hospital Hadapsar Annexe is a 100-bed facility.

Plans are afoot to expand its healthcare network to Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pimpri Chinchwad, Nagpur, Solapur Kolhapur and other cities in Maharashtra, apart from reinforcing its presence in Pune and Nashik.

“Our strategic focus is on increasing bed capacity and providing access to specialised medical care that will help us bridge the healthcare gap and cater to the needs of the community.

Through our brownfield and greenfield projects, along with strategic mergers and acquisitions, we aim to ensure that more patients have access to high-quality healthcare services.

The expansion of our Hadapsar facility is a significant step in this direction, and we are committed to meeting the specific healthcare needs of the local population,” he told reporters.
