More than 200 residents from Pandav Nagar area,along with activists from Pune Jilha Molkarin Sanghatana,Lokayat and Pune Bus Pravasi Sangh,staged a sit-in protest at the PMPML headquarters in Swargate on Saturday demanding for PMPML bus service from Pandavanagar (behind Symbiosis College) to Swargate.
According to the protesters,they have to travel 2-3 km to board a bus. A petition was submitted to the PMPML authorities about three months ago. Sunita Tandale of the Sanghatana submitted the demands to T S Dharulkar,CEO of PMPML who has promised to undertake an inspection of the route on Wednesday.
