PMPML starts CNG bus service from airport

The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has started Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) bus service with luggage cabinet from airport to Pune railway station and Deccan. From Airport to Pune station,the fare will be Rs 25 and to Deccan Rs 40,said a press release issued by the PMPML

According to the release,the PMPML has introduced the service on this route because of increased demand. “People wanted us to increase the frequency of regular buses,instead,we thought to introduce CNG services,” the release said.

Buses that will leave from Deccan to the Airport will have a frequency of approximately one bus per hour,starting from 5.50 am to 10.30 pm and buses from the airport to Deccan will leave at 6.50 am,which also have a frequency of one bus per hour.

The last bus from the airport will be at 11.20 pm. Suggestions could be posted on http://www.pmpml.org.
