The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) city improvement committee (CIC),studying the report on nullah and river of the city,has identified an additional 40 km long nullah in Pashan and Warje basin which are not in the development plan.
The CIC is studying the report prepared by Primov Consultant and would be taking a decision. According to the report,there are 29 nullahs in Pashan but only few are mentioned in the development plan. There is encroachment on many nullahs and some are completely blocked, said CIC chairman Arun Dhimdhime.
