A peon with the Apang Kalyan Kendra at Narayangaon,was arrested for allegedly raping two physically disabled girls on the school premises. The peon was identified as Mahadeo Asraji Borade (45). Police have also booked the school headmaster for allegedly hushing it up.
Pune Rural SP Manoj Kumar said both the victims were students of the same school. The first victim is a standard V student,while the other girl is a secondary school student. The first victim told her parents of the incident, he said. Her parents lodged a complaint with the police. During investigations,another girl came forward and alleged that she was also raped by the peon.
We have arrested Borade and will be shortly arresting the headmaster as well, he added.
