‘No law and order problem’

The law and order situation in the city was good on the day of counting for the Lok Sabha elections,said Joint Commissioner of Police Rajendra Sonawane while speaking to the media on Saturday evening. Sonawane said that 1500 police personnel were deployed on bandobast duty at the place of counting in Shivajinagar godown. “No incidents of riots or crowding were reported in the city. There was proper patrolling across the city since early morning. Also,there was no traffic jam problem,” Sonwane said. “Nobody was detained as a preventive measure,” he added.
