Four Seasons Wine won bronze at the first ever Decanter Asia World Wine Awards. Barrique Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon,a premium wine from the group,was declared one of the best red wines. A produce of Sahyadri Valley in Maharashtra,this award-winning wine has been matured in oak barrels and created at the state-of-the-art Four Seasons winery in Baramati near Pune from French grapes. Abhay Kewadkar,director Four Seasons said on the occasion,This is a proud moment for us as it reaffirms our belief of being on the right track and producing a wine in India that is capable of receiving global recognition and being appreciated by people not only in India but by people in traditional wine drinking countries as well. The Decanter wine award,which is an initiative of Britains Decanter Wine magazine,is one of the most prestigious awards given out in the category of wine in the world today.

A cake mixing event was hosted at International Institute of Hotel Management in Viman Nagar on November 2. The ceremony was organised by International Institute of Hotel Management faculty members and students. Celebrated in all five-star hotels worldwide on an annual basis,this ceremony was overseen by Chef Anand Joshi and Chef Joel Mhatre. The event was organised to mark the beginning of Christmas,with traditional methods of cake mixing being used.
