The Hard Rock Cafe has organised a Mexican Food Festival which will treat foodies to Mexican delights till September 18. It has Latin dancers,flair bartenders and live music performances. Dishes like the Legendry Burger infused with a smokey baked bean mix,grilled Bahama Mama Chicken Tender Burrito served with spicy fries,Albequerque Cottage Cheese and Veg Burrito,Spicy American Corn and Danish Mozzarella Samoset are ready to order on the special menu.

Want to dig into delicious biryani this season? Mystic Masala at the Vivanta by Taj Blue Diamond is the place to head to as it has a Biryani festival on on till September 6. From Lucknowi Biryani,and Hyderabadi Tarkari Biryani to Malai Kofta Biryani,the biryanis are cooked in the traditional dum method andare sure to tingle your tastebuds.

Ale is Well

Doolally Handcrafted Beers will be introducing two new flavours of beers at its outlet at the Corinthian Club. The two new versions include the Bohemian Pale Ale and the Smoked Ale. The Smoked Ale has a distinctive smoky character imparted by using malt dried over an open flame,while the Bohemian Ale is a complete fusion between American Pale Ale and the famous Saaz hop from Czechia in old Europe.

Barbequed tales

Barbeque Nation is hosting the Veggieque festival that will be on till September 11. The menu comprises specially selected vegetarian dishes like the Kashmiri Sabzi Kabab,a soft suluccent steak made from assorted chopped vegetables,Nut Rice Steak with Sweet Chilly Sauce which is an oriental preparation made with rice and nuts topped with oriental sweet chilly sauce and Cheese Stick with Tangy Tomato Sauce made up of Cheese sticks wrapped in wonton sheets accompanied with sweet,sour and spiked tomato sauce.

Luxury Calling

The Radisson Blu Resort and Spa,Alibaug,set up by city-based Phadnis Group has won the award for Best Luxury Spa Hotel 2011 from Today’s Traveller. The award was received by Mrinal Sarkar,GM,Radisson Blu Resort & Spa,Alibaug,and Sushama Chopda,director,Phadnis Group at the hands of Subodh Kant Sahai,Minister for Tourism – Government of India in a ceremony held at Taj Palace,New Delhi recently. The resort has previously won the Best Spa Treatment award for Mandara Signature Massage at the second Pevonia Asia Spa India Annual Awards and AESA Award for best landscape design from the Architects’,Engineers and Surveyor’s Association.
