The king of grapes
Robert Louis Stevenson once said that wine is bottled poetry. Good Earth Winery is hosting an exclusive tasting session of their wines at Providore,the gourmet food store in Aundh. Good Earth Winerys wines were also selected as the official wine to be served in the Indian embassy in Washington. The wine tasting session will be held today and tomorrow,11am to 9pm.
A fresh start
To keep a customer happy,one needs to constantly innovate,adding fresh ideas while keeping the old ones in place. Mocha is adding new dishes to its menu,which include the likes of fusilli alfredo with herbs,penne arrabiata,spaghetti pesto,bean and nacho chilli,breaded stuffed mushroom and chicken kibbeh.
Holy ice-cream!
Holi is a time of the year when people traditionally have Thandai. However,with the current high temperatures,an ice cream seems more appealing. Naturals Ice Cream is launching a special limited-time-only Thandai flavoured ice cream,so that people can have both at the same time. This flavour is available only till March 31.
A long run
Non-vegetarian speciality restaurant Nevrekar Health Home,Laxmi Road,will be celebrating its 61th anniversary on April 4,and the restaurant is organising high tea on the occasion. Opening its doors on Gudi Padwa in 1950,the eatery is well known for its Mutton Curry,Fish Fry and Chinoy Rice.
