Matching it up
For all cricket lovers,Post 91,Koregaon Park,will be screening matches of the upcoming Champions League at its restaurant Mojo Buffet. All the matches will be screened along with a specially crafted Champions League menu that will change on a daily basis. Some of the dishes to look forward to are the West Indian jerk chicken and pepper pots,South African meat delicacies,English Bubble and Squeak,Sri Lankan curries and Australian grills. Adding a local flavour will be dishes like the Malabari parathas with vegetable kurma,Bengali fish preparations and the Bombay Duck cooked in Mumbai style. The event will be on till October 9.
Mix and Match
Vivanta by Taj Blue Diamond will be hosting the first Christmas fruit mixing of the season today. In addition to the fruits in wine and liquor,there will be a special cookery demo for children wherein they will learn to make chocolates. Another demo will teach women how to bake brownies and make fresh cake decorations.

Cafe Coffee Day has recently introduced the Happy Hours concept at six of its outlets in the city. Customers can avail a 25 per cent discount any time between 11 am and 2 pm. The Baskin-Robins ‘Chocofest’ that is on till November 3 promises to deliver 10 different varieties of chocolate ice cream for those with a sweet tooth. Chocolate flavours like the Choco Chips Mousse,Chocolate Ice Cream,Three Cheers Chocolate,Malted Choco Fudge,World Class Chocolate,Gold Medal Ribbon,Mint Milk Chocolate Chips,Milk Chocolate Chips,Mississippi Mud and the Bavarian Chocolate are available. The festival is on at all the Baskin Robin outlets except at multiplexes.
Tea to Tango
Gourmet Avenue at the Hyatt Regency in Pune is having a high tea event till September 30. Customers will be able to savour sandwiches,scones,cookies,cakes,pastries and tea. Also,at La Terrazza,Chef Anil Khurana will conduct a cookery class today. This will be followed by a delicious lunch at The Cafe.
