IOC,BPC,ONGC,GAIL in semis

Defending champions IOC,Host and runner-ups BPCL,along with ONGC and GAIL,entered the semifinal round at the twenty seventh Petroleum Sports Promotion Board’s Inter-Unit hockey tournament organised by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited,played at Chattrapati Shivaji Krida Sankul,Balewadi,here on Tuesday.

IOC easily won their league matches,beating CPCL and GAIL by 4-0. In group B,BPCL scored a 5-3 victory over ONGC to enter the semifinal round with the top position in their group.

3. BPCL: 5 (Gurpreet Singh 25,35,57 min,Tushar Khandekar 52 min,Hari Prasad 58 min) bt ONGC: 3 (Diwakar Ram 8,11 min,Sandeep Antil 69 min).
