The Indian team beat Hong Kong 5-2 in the final of the inaugural Asian Rollball Championship which took place in Hong Kong recently.
In all there were 8 teams present India,malaysia,Macau,Nepal, Bangladesh,China,Hong Kong and Pakistan. India and Hong Kong were the top two teams of pool A while Bangladesh and Nepal were the two two teams of pool B and they reached the semifinals. Hong Kong beat Nepal to set up a clash with India who beat Bangladesh in the semi final. Bangladesh defeated Nepal 2-1 in the third place play off with
Moirul Hoque Monir scoring both the goals for the winners and Sagar Lama scoring the lone goal for the losing team. In the finals India defeated Hong Kong 5-2 with harsh Shah (2),Aditya Ganeshwade,Harshit Sanghvi and Nishank Jain scoring for the winners and Suen Cheuk Nam scoring both the goals for the losing team.
